WelcomeDebbie Fitzgerald, CD, (DONA) CNA

Congratulations on your pregnancy and your journey into motherhood. This is a time in your life like no other, and no other time will compare to the miraculous and extraordinary event that pregnancy and birth can be. Families deserve to be well informed and completely supported when it comes to childbirth. Giving birth will give you a lifelong positive effect on your confidence as a woman and as a mother. Birth is a natural, normal process, not a disease or sickness.

When you are in labor, you need to be honored and supported. I want to be able to give families all the information they need to make decisions for themselves and be confident in those decisions. I assist mothers and their partners in labor, birth and postpartum at all South Orange County Hospitals and Birthing Centers, and look forward to being a part of your birthing team at this special time in life.

About Me

Although I am originally from England, I received my training and certification through Dona International (Doulas of North America) and am additionally certified as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) through the State of California. I am a member of DASC (Doulas Association of Southern California) and work in LDRP (Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum) at a local Orange County Hospital. I am also BLS/CPR and AED certified, as well as trained to help moms using hypnosis for childbirth.

When I gave birth to my daughter, Kayleigh, in 1987 not only was I blessed with a perfect, beautiful daughter, but God revealed this gift he gave to me by helping families to have a truly satisfying birth and postpartum experience. I have assisted many families, in South Orange County, with my extensive experience in labor and birth support. I live in Aliso Viejo, Ca. with my husband, Ron, and our 4 children.
